Welcome to Trusted Help Portal (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
Trusted Help Portal is a trade name of Trusted Help Portal (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (Company No. 2020/106470/07) with its registered office at 9 The Straight Ave, Sandton.
- Key Definitions
- Content: Any text, images, videos, sounds, or other material you encounter or post on our Platform.
- Site: Any website, mobile application, or web page controlled by us.
- Membership: Services offered through our Platform that provide you with access and benefits.
- Service: Any offering provided by a Service Provider listed on our Platform.
- Provider: An individual or business that offers a Service for sale.
- Job Poster: An individual or business seeking to purchase a Service.
- User: Any person who accesses or uses our Platform.
- Our Contract
- Marketplace Role:
Trusted Help Portal operates solely as a marketplace connecting Service Providers and Job Posters. We do not buy, sell, or supply any Services directly.
- No Principal-Agent Relationship:
We act only as a facilitator and do not represent any party in the transactions conducted on our Platform.
- Communication and Payment:
We provide tools for communication and payment facilitation. However, the completion, quality, or fulfillment of any Service is the sole responsibility of the parties involved.
- Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes regarding Services should first be resolved directly between the parties. We may offer mediation only as a courtesy.
- What You Agree To
By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to the following:
- You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and all related policies, including our Privacy Policy.
- Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any future modifications to these Terms.
- You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and when using the Platform.
- You acknowledge that all transactions and interactions with other Users are conducted at your own risk, and you are responsible for verifying the quality and reliability of the Services provided.
- How We Handle Your Content
- Collection and Use:
The Content you create, post, or transmit on our Platform is subject to these Terms. By posting Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and display that Content solely for operating, promoting, and improving our Platform.
- Storage and Security:
We store your Content on secure servers and employ industry-standard measures to protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure.
- Third-Party Access:
While we work to protect your Content, you acknowledge that it may be accessible to other Users or third parties. We are not liable for any unauthorized use or sharing of Content by others.
- Our Privacy Policy is robust and complies fully with current privacy laws. You can review it at https://trustedhelpportal.com/policy.
- Any Content you post in a public area of our Site becomes publicly available. We cannot control who sees or uses it.
- Even if Content is accessible only after user registration, it is effectively public since any registered user can access it. Avoid posting any confidential information.
- You irrevocably grant us the right and license to edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate, and otherwise use any Content you post on our Site, across all public domains and media. By doing so, you confirm that you are authorized to grant these rights.
- We will exercise this license solely for the commercial purposes of our business.
- You waive any rights to claim authorship and to object to modifications, including distortion or mutilation, of your work as provided under the Copyright Act 1978.
- You irrevocably authorize us to publish feedback, comments, and ratings about your activity on our Site, even if such feedback is critical or defamatory.
- Posting Content does not transfer ownership of your copyright to us; you retain your rights, and we make no claims over your work.
- You are solely responsible for any infringement of intellectual property rights, defamation, or any other legal breach resulting from your posted Content.
- You accept full responsibility for ensuring that any Content you post is not confidential and is suitable for the public domain.
- Please notify us immediately of any security breaches or unauthorized use of your account.

- Restrictions on What You Post
- Prohibited Content:
You agree not to post any Content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful. This includes any material that violates intellectual property rights or is offensive, abusive, or discriminatory.
You agree not to use our Site—or allow anyone else to use it—to post content or engage in any activity that:
- Encourages or incites criminal behaviour or any unlawful acts.
- Contains obscene, offensive, threatening, violent, malicious, or defamatory material.
- Is sexually explicit or pornographic.
- Intends to deceive, impersonate someone else, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliations.
- Uses a post to solicit responses unrelated to our Site’s purpose or the terms of this agreement.
- Requests or collects passwords or personal information from other users without their permission or shares excessive personal details about yourself.
- Sells goods or services or conducts any commercial activities not approved by us, including sending private commercial messages or gathering information to share with third parties.
- Facilitates the distribution of unauthorized copies of copyrighted work.
- Includes links to any of the prohibited materials mentioned above.
- Uses distribution lists that contain people who have not given explicit consent to be included; or
- Sends communications or content that is inappropriate for individuals under 18 years of age.
- Compliance with Guidelines:
All Content must comply with our community guidelines and applicable legal standards. We reserve the right to remove any Content that we deem inappropriate or in violation of these Terms.
- User Responsibility:
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any Content you post is original and does not infringe on the rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify us for any claims arising from Content that violates these restrictions.
- You agree not to include in your posts any unauthorized hyperlinks, repeated irrelevant keywords, or the name, logo, or trademark of any organization other than your own. Additionally, you must not provide inaccurate, false, or misleading information. You also agree to refrain from posting any content or engaging in behaviour that is inappropriate—such as harassment, hate speech, obscenity, profanity, sexually explicit, illegal, adult-themed, personal, violent, or dangerous material—or deceptive, including fake engagement, misrepresentation, impersonation, or misinformation.
- User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information:
Provide accurate, complete, and updated information when registering or using our Platform.
- Compliance with Laws:
Use the Platform in accordance with all applicable local and international laws.
- Account Security:
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
- Payment and Transaction Disclaimers
- Payment Facilitation:
Our Platform provides payment tools to help Service Providers and Job Posters transact. We do not control the funds or the completion of Services.
- No Guarantee of Service:
We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or reliability of any Service listed on our Platform. All transactions are solely between the parties involved.
- Refunds and Cancellations:
Refund and cancellation policies are managed by the Service Providers and/or Job Posters. Please review these policies carefully before making a transaction.
- Security on Our Site
- Protection Measures:
We employ industry-standard security measures—including encryption, secure servers, and access controls—to protect your information and Content from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
- User Cooperation:
You agree to use our Platform responsibly and to promptly notify us of any security vulnerabilities or breaches you might detect.
- No Absolute Guarantee:
While we strive to ensure robust security, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures.
- Indemnity
- Your Responsibility:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trusted Help Portal, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your use of the Platform;
- Any Content you post or transmit;
- Your breach of these Terms or any applicable laws;
- Your violation of any rights of a third party.
- Prompt Notification:
You agree to promptly notify us of any claims for which you seek indemnity under these provisions.
- Disclaimers
- “As Is” Basis:
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- No Warranty of Uninterrupted Service:
We do not guarantee that the Platform will operate without interruptions, errors, or security breaches.
- Third-Party Content:
We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any third-party content or Services accessed through the Platform.
- Global Compliance:
Although we strive to comply with applicable local and global legal standards, your use of the Platform is at your own risk, and we disclaim all liability for any losses incurred as a result.
- Intellectual Property
- Ownership:
All intellectual property on the Platform—including design, text, graphics, and software—is owned by or licensed to Trusted Help Portal.
- License to Use Content:
By posting Content on the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and display that Content solely for operating, promoting, and improving our Platform.
- Changes and Updates
- Amendments:
We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your use governs your relationship with us.
- Notification:
Major changes will be announced on our Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Termination
- Our Rights:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful conduct.
- Effect of Termination:
Upon termination, you must cease using the Platform, and any licenses granted under these Terms will immediately cease.
- General Provisions
- Entire Agreement:
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and Trusted Help Portal.
- Severability:
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- No Waiver:
Failure by Trusted Help Portal to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce them in the future.

- Miscellaneous
If any part of this agreement is found to be void, invalid, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, it will be modified only as necessary to comply with the law while maintaining its intent. All other terms will remain in full effect.
If you violate any terms of this agreement, we may:
- Terminate your account and deny access to our Site.
- Remove or edit content or cancel any orders at our discretion.
- Pursue legal action in court.
Any obligations meant to continue beyond termination will remain in effect.
Our failure or delay in enforcing any rights under this agreement does not waive those rights or limit future enforcement.
By using our Site or communicating with us via email, you consent to receive electronic communications. These messages, including notices posted on our Site, fulfil any legal requirement for written communication.
Official communications between parties must be delivered by hand, courier, registered mail, or email. Delivery is considered effective:
- Immediately if delivered by hand.
- Within 72 hours if sent by post to the correct address.
- Within 24 hours if sent by email, unless a non-delivery notice is received.
In case of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith mediation before proceeding to arbitration or litigation.
Unless stated otherwise, this agreement does not grant rights to any third party.
We are not responsible for any delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including labour disputes.
If any term of this agreement conflicts with a company’s memorandum of incorporation or similar regulatory documents, this agreement takes precedence.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively within its jurisdiction.
By accessing or using our Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for any updates.
